The Respiratory Protection Policy establishes uniform administrative procedures and minimum requirements related to respiratory protection. It defines the University’s provision of respirators when necessary or requested, the use of appropriate respirators when engineering controls are not feasible, and Environmental Health and Safety responsibility for maintaining the Respiratory Protection Program.
