Lehigh grants eligible faculty members up to 12 weeks of FMLA leave (or 26 weeks for military caregiver leave) in a 12-month period for qualifying reasons. Tenured, tenure-track, and term faculty are eligible for paid leave for their own health condition or as a primary caregiver for a new child or seriously ill family member, subject to certification. Benefits continue during the leave, and a formal request to HR is required.
