Lehigh encourages employees to pursue job-related external training that aligns with departmental and institutional goals. Departments are primarily responsible for covering program costs, but the Build and Enhance Skills through Training (BEST) program may provide subsidies. Employees granted release time to attend approved training must record the time as hours worked. Supervisor approval is required before attendance.
